About Us

Komal Foundation

The Komal Foundation in Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, strives to empower and uplift society's underprivileged groups through women awareness programs, child labor & safety campaigns, etc.

The Komal Foundation was established in 2016 and works towards the upliftment and empowerment of the weaker sections of the society through education and creating awareness about environmental protection, sanitation. safe drinking water, family planning, prevention of HIV/AIDS, women empowerment. Our Foundation is also engaged in a Save the Girls awareness programme and seminar, voters awareness programme, child labour control awareness programme, child development programme, road safety awareness campaigns, and a disability empowerment awareness program, tobacco free india awareness program, TB care and control awareness program.

Our Programs

Komal Bal Gurukul

We are dedicated to provide free education to 60 underprivileged children. Our program aims to empower these children with knowledge, skills, and values that will shape their future. At our Gurukul in Firozabad, we offer a holistic learning environment that includes academic subjects, arts, sports, and character development. Our team of passionate and qualified teachers ensures personalized attention and guidance for each student. Through generous donations and community support, we can offer free uniforms, books, and nutritious meals.

Srishti Women Training Center

Our mission is to empower women and girls by providing them with the skills and training they need to become self-reliant. At our center, we are currently training 25 girls and women in the art of sewing and embroidery. Through this program, we aim to enhance their creativity and craftsmanship while also equipping them with valuable vocational skills.

Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program

The Komal Foundation organized a "Menstrual Hygiene Awareness Program" at Dayalu Memorial Inter College, Tapa Khurd, Kotla Road, Firozabad. The event featured comprehensive sessions led by Ms. Rekha Varma from Plan India and Mr. Ashwani Kumar Rajouriya, President of the Komal Foundation, along with Mr. Madan Gopal, President of the Mata Pitambara Welfare Society. Special thanks were extended to Mrs. Sheenu Agrawal for her support in providing sanitary pads to women and girls. The program received collaboration from the Indian Development Foundation, Mumbai, Sati Maharani Jan Kalyan Trust, Amethi, and J.S. University, Shikohabad. Teachers from Narayan Bal Gurukul actively participated in the program, including Mrs. Jyoti Shrivastava and several others. Overall, the event aimed to raise awareness and promote menstrual hygiene among women and adolescent girls in the community.

Women's Rights Awareness Program

On the occasion of International Women's Day, the Komal Foundation, in collaboration with the Sati Maharani Jan Kalyan Trust, organized a "Women's Rights Awareness Program" at Sanskarshala, Kabir Nagar, Baudhashram Road, Firozabad. During the program, Mr. Ashwani Kumar Rajouriya, President of the Komal Foundation, and Uttar Pradesh government's Vivekananda State Youth Award winner, provided extensive information to all women and girls about International Women's Day, women's helpline numbers, and women's rights. In attendance were teachers from Sanskarshala, including Priyanka Rathore, Bhavna Rathore, Mrs. Vinita Rathore, Pooja Devi, as well as prominent figures like Lakhansingh from the Komal Foundation.

Scheduled Voters Education and Participation (SVEEP) program

Under the Scheduled Voters Education and Participation (SVEEP) program, the Komal Foundation organized a Voter Awareness Program at the District Jail premises in Firozabad. Dr. Sandhya Dwivedi, Brand Ambassador of SVEEP, along with Jail Superintendent Anand Singh and Komal Foundation President Ashwani Kumar Rajouriya, raised awareness among relatives of incarcerated individuals about voting. Dr. Sandhya Dwivedi also administered an oath for voting. In attendance were Lakhansingh, Dr. Priya Singh, Vijay Yadav, Rajpal Singh, Vinod Kumar, and NSS volunteers Srishti Jain and Nisha Chaturvedi, among others.

Beti Padhao Beti Bachao Jan Jagrukta Rally

"Beti Padhao Beti Bachao Jan Jagrukta Rally" was an awareness-raising activity focused on promoting the education and protection of the girl child. The rally involved organizing a public gathering to spread awareness about the importance of educating and safeguarding girls.

COVID Relief Campaign

For COVID Relief, the Komal Foundation distributed ration material, masks, sanitizers, soap, medicines, and public utility material to the needy families. Sanitary pads were distributed to needy adolescent girls and women for menstrual hygiene. Due to COVID-19, there has been a great impact on the education of children, hence, the Komal Foundation distributed stationery, masks, sanitizers, soap, biscuits, and chips to the children so that they can continue their studies smoothly by staying at their homes,
